Pneumatic Angle Control Valve
South American valve is one of the largest Pneumatic angle control valve manufacturer in Colombia. We supply to cities like Leticia, Tunja, Soacha, and Yopal. A pneumatic angle control valve is a type of valve that is controlled by compressed air or gas. It is used in various industries to regulate the flow of fluids, gases, or steam in a system.
The term “angle” refers to the angle between the inlet and outlet ports of the valve, which is typically 90 degrees. This design is often used in applications where space is limited or where the flow of fluid needs to be redirected at a right angle. The valve is controlled by a pneumatic actuator, which opens or closes the valve depending on the air pressure applied to it. This allows for precise control of the flow rate and direction of the fluid, which can be important in many industrial processes.
The working principle of a pneumatic angle control valve is as follows:
Compressed air is supplied to the valve actuator, which is usually a piston or diaphragm. The air pressure is used to move the actuator, which in turn moves the valve stem.
The valve stem is connected to the valve disc or plug, which is located inside the valve body. When the valve stem moves, the disc or plug also moves, opening or closing the valve.
The position of the valve disc or plug is determined by the position of the actuator, which is controlled by the air pressure.
The air pressure is controlled by a pneumatic controller, which receives signals from a process controller. The process controller measures the flow, pressure, temperature or level of the fluid in the system and sends a signal to the pneumatic controller to adjust the valve position.
The pneumatic controller adjusts the air pressure to the actuator, causing the valve to move to the desired position.
South American valve is a topmost Pneumatic angle control valve manufacturer in Colombia and by controlling the position of the valve disc or plug, the pneumatic angle control valve can control the flow rate, pressure, or level of the fluid in the system.
